This fellowship aims to cultivate future leaders equipped to advocate for those disproportionately affected by health inequities within the U.S. healthcare system.

This fellowship aims to professionally develop pharmacists to improve healthcare delivery for vulnerable populations.
1 year (July 1st, 2024 - June 30th, 2025)
Health Equity, Health Disparities, Public Health, Clinical Research, Cultural Competency, Health Literacy, Affordability, and Accessibility.
This fellowship, the first of its kind nationally, offers pharmacists hands-on experience working with diverse, uninsured patient populations. It emphasizes delivering culturally competent care and advocating for equitable access.
Fellows will engage with local, regional, and national healthcare stakeholders to address the needs of uninsured individuals served by health safety-net clinics and charitable pharmacies.

Organizing and conducting health screenings for underserved communities in Northern Virginia.
Implementing school-based immunization programs to protect our community's youth.
Providing culturally competent health education to diverse patient populations.
Working with policymakers to improve healthcare access and equity.

Candidates must be certified to immunize.
Hold or be eligible for pharmacy licensure in Virginia.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and online tools (e.g., Zoom, Social Media).
