NeedyMeds is a nonprofit group whose goal is to help people afford their healthcare. They serve as an informational resource that connects patients to programs that can save money on doctors, dentists, and drugs.
For new users, clicking “welcome new users” from the “getting started” tab will direct them to a series of options. These include sections to help with drug cost, finding cheaper care or government assistance programs, and more. By clicking on each option, text will appear that guides users through the process of using these tools.
NeedyMeds hosts webinars regularly to keep users informed on many healthcare topics. Upon entering the website, the homepage will list its upcoming webinars that users may attend. There is also a calendar for all of its upcoming events.
Users are able to subscribe to NeedyMeds to be kept up to date with Patient Assistance Resource Education (PARE), Patient Assistant Programs (PAP), and more.
The number of services offered by NeedyMeds is what makes it so helpful. Beyond drug savings and cheaper care, patients can find help with traveling for care, scholarships based on health conditions, and many more useful tools.
