MedicationAccessTool.org

Medication Assistance Tool (MAT), a search engine tool that matches patients with tools to lower their healthcare costs. These include Patient Assistance Programs (PAP), drug coupons, free clinics, government programs, and more. Users can even find help for specific problems, such as kidney failure.

Upon entering the website, patients can use the first page to learn more about how MAT works. From there, clicking “continue” will take them to a page where they can find medications that they need or other helpful resources. Or the user can click “View the full tutorial” for detailed step-by-step instructions on how to use MAT. By giving some information, MAT will help match users to services they may need. The resources generated from the search will include links to apply for the programs, as well as contact information.

Patients can use the tabs at the top of the homepage for additional resources. “Patient Resources” provides medication and healthcare access information. Finally, users can find extensive information on health insurance including Medicaid and Medicare under the “Education” tab.
