Serve as an education and training site to future healthcare providers (pharmacy, nurse practitioner and nursing students)

Improve long-term health outcomes of children enrolling in FCPS by providing coordinated, accessible services.

How It Works

?

Who is eligible for the PAVE services?

We serve uninsured or Medicaid-enrolled children from Pre-K to 12th grade who are enrolling in Fairfax County Public Schools.

?

What vaccines are available?

Vaccines are donated by the state and recorded in the Virginia state immunization registry database. Children are referred to the Fairfax County Health Department for any follow-up doses.

?

What is the immunization toolkit?

The immunization toolkit includes an international-to-US vaccine conversion tool, designed to minimize over-vaccination of children.

?

Where is the weekly clinic located?

The weekly clinic is located at Dunn Loring Center. MAP Clinic providers conduct school physicals, and NSC staff administer vaccines.
