At NOVA ScriptsCentral, our "Educate Before You Medicate" program empowers community members by addressing health literacy and combatting medical misinformation. We believe that understanding your health and medications is key to making informed decisions and improving health outcomes.
Our multilingual team develops easy-to-understand health education content tailored to the diverse needs of the community.
We offer bi-lingual workshops on topics such as nutrition, diabetes, cardiovascular health, mental health, vaccines, and more. These workshops are available for children, adults, and seniors at various community venues like libraries and churches.
We create handouts, infographics, presentations, and toolkits in multiple languages, ensuring accessibility for all.
We work with local, regional, and national organizations to help incorporate health literacy and culturally competent messaging into their community engagement efforts.
Since 2020, we have reached over 6,650 participants through our workshops, helping individuals manage chronic conditions, improve lifestyle habits, and increase their overall health literacy. From diabetes management to mental health, our program makes a lasting difference in the lives of our community members.
NOVA ScriptsCentral only serves Northern Virginia for in-person services.
