Pharmacy Director
Dr Huyen Nguyen has been a part of the NOVA ScriptsCentral team since 2009. Dr. Nguyen graduated summa cum laude from MCV/VCU School of Pharmacy and serves as a current Clinical Assistant Professor for both VCU and the Shenandoah School of Pharmacy. Her experience has primarily focused on non-profit, safety net and community pharmacy practice. Dr. Nguyen grew up near Richmond, Virginia and prior to joining NOVA ScriptsCentral, was a pharmacy manager at Appomattox Area Health and Wellness Center. Her interests include pharmaceutical research, pharmacy economics, and pharmacogenomics. Dr. Nguyen enjoys precepting students because the learning is reciprocal; often, she finds that students bring an alternative and fresh perspective into the pharmacy conversation.
