Medical Research Coordinator
Dr Maria Balbin has an extensive education background from the Philippines, a Doctor of Medicine degree from Our Lady of Fatima University, and two Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Nursing. She earned her Master’s degree in Public Health with focus areas on Health Management & Policy and Epidemiology from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois. As the Medical Research Coordinator of NOVA Scripts Central her work includes collecting & analyzing different data parameters to evaluate program impacts on the community, and design survey tools for research-based health programs.
She loves the opportunity to join NOVA Scripts Central in achieving good health outcomes in the community was an exhilarating experience. The collaborative partnership with other health organization to address public health issues such as health equity, health literacy and chronic disease prevalence unveils a sense of reliance on the genuine intention to amend the health problems of the community. That type of environment drives me to believe that every effort will never be futile.
