About the Fellowship

This fellowship aims to cultivate future leaders equipped to advocate for those disproportionately affected by health inequities within the U.S. healthcare system.

First of Its Kind Nationally

This fellowship offers pharmacists hands-on experience working with diverse, uninsured patient populations, emphasizing culturally competent care and equitable access.

To cultivate future leaders equipped to advocate for those disproportionately affected by health inequities within the U.S. healthcare system.

Objective

To professionally develop pharmacists to improve healthcare delivery for vulnerable populations.

1 year program

July 2026 – June 2027

Requirements

Candidate Qualifications

Applicants should meet the following criteria to be considered for the fellowship

Immunization Certified

Candidates must be certified to administer immunizations.

Required

Virginia Licensure

Hold or be eligible for pharmacy licensure in the state of Virginia.

Required

Technical Proficiency

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and online tools (Zoom, Social Media).
